Milan fashion week highlights so far!

So far we’ve seen the next spring 2014 collections from New York, London and now its Milan’s turn! Are you excited? You should be! With designers including, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Dolce & Gabbanna, Blumarine, Max Mara, Alexander McQueen gracing their presence on the runway the list is sensational!¬†Alberta Ferretti’s Spring Summer 2014 collection involves floral’s and stripes a beautiful combination of pinks and whites. Mother of Pearls next spring collection is a zesty masterpiece with the use of fruit prints combined with stripes i absolutely love this vibrant modern twist. ¬†Franceseco Scognamiglio has used subtle prints and embellishments to their advantage i love the use of embellishment on the sleeves paired with the use of white and pastel tones seen throughout this collection. Who would have thought the use of portraits would look so eye catching on garments, well Prada showed us exactly how it can be done! Don’t you agree? Blumarine showed the catwalk beautiful textures involved in the collection with the use of white used well again! I think it’s safe to say white is a massive trend next spring! My final highlight so far at MFW is Dolce & Gabbana what an outstanding use of print in a variety of fabrics, so bold and fabulous it was so hard to just chose a few! Don’t worry it’s not over yet! Enjoy!
